PHASE ONE.

PHASE ONE.

This massive, 3 phased privately commissioned mural project on The Hub, in the Dalles, Oregon was designed by Blaine Fontana. Phase 1 was painted by the dream team: Blaine Fontana, Toma Villa, Jeff Sheridan, and Jeremy Nichols. This mural was inspired by the local wildlife found in the Dalles area, and captures the energy and spirit of the Columbia River Gorge. Participating in the mural was very pivotal moment for Jeremy Nichols, as this was his first experience in painting photo-realistic large scale animals, which he now includes in many of his current mural works. On phase 1, he completed the black bear, long horned sheep, mountain lion, and chickadee.

Phase 2 and 3 of this project was executed together by Blaine Fontana and Jeremy Nichols. the entire wall surface of this mural project spans approximately 350’ at 25’ in height. The mural project was also completed entirely with spray paint.
