SUNSHINE DAIRY

The “Sunshine Dairy” mural is a temporary mural project that came to fruition by the partnership of Portland Street Art Alliance and Eastbank Develpoment. Due to structural/foundation issues, this iconic local warehouse in inner Portland is slated to be demolished in 2020. As a result, Eastbank teamed up with PSSA to give local artists an opportunity to brighten up and give back to the community through murals. Each side of the building was organized by different Team Captains, making each side of the building have its own distinct style and vibe.

This mural was a collaboration between Jeremy Nichols and Raskoe, inspired by the Pacific North West spirit, the two artists combined “graffiti” with photo-realistic painted black bears.

This mural is approximately 20’x120’. some areas were painted with latex paint, with the majority painted with spray paint.
